Red's Placement Abroad
REFLECTIVE LOG
Part 4
Conclusion
So, the conclusion of my placement is that it definitely met the requirements that I wanted. Would I do it again? Yes. Would I advise others to do this placement abroad scheme? Yes. And will I remember this for the rest of my life? Most definitely.
What is next?
After some meetings with careers and attending part-time job fairs, I have decided to apply for the two-year degree graduate metropolitan scheme. The process is coming along, and I am waiting for responses from their recruitment team. My desire is to help children, especially with online dangers, therefore my digital skills will come in use. This two-year scheme will help me specialise in future specific roles because I will be rewarded with a policing certificate, which will allow me to do so. The placement has made me want to reach new heights, in regard to taking bigger risks, as I have proven I can put myself out there.
Before this, I have received two offers to work as an intern for The University of Roehampton, for the duration of the summer. The traveling abroad placement was not only a work experience journey but a personal one, and I have learnt things that will stay with me. This journey has made me a braver, more outgoing spontaneous woman.
