3.1 Critical review of: Working at Niramit
How well did this placement meet my aims and objectives
When finding a placement I had aims and objectives in mind, and I have concluded that my placement has met my requirements. The goal of traveling abroad and to an Asian country was met, this was because of my diligence to find an internship provider that could offer me work in this part of the world. With the help of the Roehampton Study Abroad team, I was granted a placement which was for my desired duration, three months in total. Niramit provided me the duration I desired, while involving me on trips to other parts of Thailand, which was a bonus within my objectives.
Developing my skills in adaptability, time management and critical thinking have all been met. Niramit helped me push myself to work in unfamiliar environments and handling roles that were new to me. Being able to liaise alongside people that live within a different work atmosphere has been increased. The adaptability that I have developed will be extremely useful when taking this expertise back home, to explore in my future career.
Time management was the skill I really wanted to master, as being an individual with ADHD makes this extremely hard to accomplish. Having to be in various places, in a short amount of time, pushed me to work on this goal. My sense of direction and my critical thinking when organising myself to meet these requirements, also developed. Using checklists and tables is one of the skills I will continue to use to help with my time management, such as using them to keep myself on a necessary and time effective schedule. The goal of building a network has definitely been met, as I know have contacts in Thailand that wish to support me if I ever need their advice or help in the future.

3.2 Critical review of: Event 1
The Wedding of Palkin and Vinit
Describe the event:
This event lasted for four days and was the wedding of one of the co-founders Palkin, who was getting married to her fiancé. The traditional Hindu wedding followed rituals and celebrations of Hindu culture, which included multiple ceremonies and festivities.
How involved in the event were you?
I was present at almost every ceremony and completed various tasks (see appendix) that were important for the completion of Niramit’s role. The value of my work was significant, especially within the roles of gift dispersal, guest communication, documentation, and organisation of products.
What skills did this event help you improve on the most?
The skill of time management was improved of immensely. This was my first time working at a wedding and I was quick to discover, the busy work environment required much focus. This taught me to make decisions in a smart and analytical way, making time for every role I was assigned to.
Taking my time, as well as being professionally organised is what I learnt to balance. Improving how I administered a structured schedule, of allocating the more essential tasks first, definitely stood out when reviewing what I had learnt from working for Niramit. This will lead my professional awareness to be more tactical and help me to decide what is more important when pursuing my preferred career choices.

3.3 Critical review of: Event 2
E-Sports and Gaming Event
Describe the event:
This event was a promotion event of a new gaming software for the pairing of E-Sports and Ampverse Gaming. Niramit organised the management for the event, and I was involved in client meetings, food preparation, guiding attendees, and many more organisational roles.
What skills did this event help you improve on the most?
Within this event the improvement of the skill adaptability was most prominent. Roles in this event were sometimes assigned to me without being able prepare, such as the food delivery being late. Having to design the food in a decorative fashion and helping to distribute to guests all contributed to the skill of adaptability. Event organisation can be unpredictable, it was normal when acting as an intern to translate other languages with applications on my phone, because the people that could understand were busy.
My roles when working the event:
